- Sleep Monitor Device Testing
IRIS has developed a number of systems for final testing of sleep monitor devices. One example, devices are used to diagnose sleep issues, and have multiple sensory I/O including: EEG, ECG, ExG, Thermistor, Oximetry, Pulse, Breathing Pressure, Snore, Effort, and Accelerometer. The system provided excitation for each of the sensors, and tested each based on readable feedback from the device. In this effort, a system was developed that simulated human breathing, snoring, and electrical impulses. There was also an accelerometer developed in the test fixture to check the associated sensor in the device by mirroring the output. The devices software and electrical draw were also tested. Iris delivered multiple desktop systems to test these devices as turnkey units.
